In January of 2013 Mark was in Florida for a sale with some clients. When he heard about a herd of 15 horses that had been abandoned by their owner, he had to go and see them. After looking a the horses and researching their bloodlines and racing history, he decided to purchase two of them. One of the two was Pinky. When I saw her for the first time, I fell in love with her. Not only was she stunning to look at (although quite thin), she was super sweet and loved attention. We then bred her to Much the Best for an Accredited Ohio foal.
The signs were not present with this one, no wax, no elongated or pushed out vulva and no apparent signs of labor. That is why we were surprised to find this little colt in the stall with his momma early this morning. Pink Gloss had a nice strong colt by Much the Best. He was up and nursing away. We are looking forward to watching this one grow!comments powered by Disqus
